Posted 25 May 2010A self storage comparison website, Storage.co.uk, has conducted a study which shows the number of operating self storage facilities in the UK now equals that of operating McDonalds restaurants! 1200 McDonalds versus 1189 self storage facilities makes things pretty even but considering some storage entities still do not have a website, the number of storage sites could easily overtake the number of restaurants.
This highlights the reality that self storage remains, even in this economic climate, a growing industry. Although somewhat affected by the property market in recent times, self storage maintains stability in the grand scheme of things!

Property has now become the most expensive stuff in the world. Land, becoming the most extravagant thing, people is just managing to purchase a portion of land, which they can afford to.
