You may have seen the most recent addition to the IKEA marketing campaign which we find very entertaining in the world of storage. It is a 1 minute advert which looks like a comedy stand up show. The concept is simple – a stand-up comedy sketch set on a stage with 2 scenes set ups, one as a bedroom and one as a living room – one for men and one for women. There are 4 comedians who fight their sex’s corner by joking back and forth to answer the age old question “who are messier men or women?” Some of the most memorable jokes on the advert to strike a chord:

• “Shoes, Shoes, Shoes, what is she a centipede!”
• “Who do men think tidy up; small army of ninjas?”

   
IKEA have some great storage solutions to maximize the storage space that you do have in your home. However, what happens when you run out of space altogether in your home? Self storage is the simple solution for this common problem, and you don’t even have to move home!
